Søren Kierkegaard Society 2025 Banquet in Boston:

We look forward to welcoming you on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5:00-9:00 pm for our annual SKS Banquet featuring Professor Emeritus Gordon Marino, who will be speaking on “Reading and Re-reading Kierkegaard on the Stages of My Life’s Way.” Our banquet will be held at Democracy Brewing in downtown Boston and includes the following buffet style menu:

Selected Starters

House Salad: Lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion & corn chips served with Italian dressing

Entrée:

Roasted Chicken: Cuts of chicken roasted with garlic, herbs, & butter, served with thyme gravy

Or

Cavatappi: Pasta with roasted garlic, blistered tomatoes, broccoli & red sauce

Sides: Mashed Potatoes and Seasonal Roasted Vegetables

Dessert: Pumpkin Pie

Drinks: Two alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks included

The Søren Kierkegaard Society sponsors scholarly events annually in conjunction with the American Philosophical Association and the American Academy of Religion.

The Society invites contributions for two sessions of the APA each year, one panel each year at the Eastern APA, with an additional panel that alternates between the Central and Pacific regional meetings.
